Uta Halee Girls Village Guild

The object of the Guild is to promote the growth and development of Uta Halee Girls Village, Inc., through special events and activities and to support Uta Halee Girls Village, Inc. in all related activities.

The theme for the Uta Halee Guild Board 2007-2008 year is "Kick it up a Notch" which means more fun, more enthusiasm, more participation, more members -- more everything with gusto and excitement!! Our major fund raising activities are Viva! Village, the Christmas Tea and the Style Show, all of which are fun and a great chance to meet people who have the same interests - helping the Village and the girls.

The Guild Board meets the third Wednesday of the month October through April at the First United Methodist Church, 7020 Cass Street. We don't meet in December and the Annual Meeting is in May arranged by the Guild Board. We are a working board.

Recent Events

September 6 Viva! Village. Our first fundraising event of the season is the beautiful poolside party - a fun relaxing party in a beautiful setting. I hope all of you will come to this fun event.

September 19 the meeting will be held at Cooper Village beginning 9:00 a.m. followed by a Village Leadership Workshop with lunch following. The Board members are to bring school supplies - notebooks, pencils, etc. for the Village residents.

October 17th meeting will be held at the First United Methodist church. The Guild Board members bring Halloween treats for the girls.

November 14 is the Thanksgiving meeting. The Guild helps the Village by bringing Thanksgiving treats.

December 5th Holiday Tea is a chance to increase our membership by inviting prospective members to come and enjoy good food and celebrate new friends and learn about Uta Halee!
